Nice to see Nunnally take charge a little. Suzaku is definitely too hard on himself about what happens here, though, given that he is explicitly piloting a ceremonial KMF with no weapons or defenses to speak of, lol.)

Me and some friends were collecting eggs on this farm. We dropped one of them and they went absolutely apeshit over that damn egg. Not even the shell was left.
I know people think chickens are herbivores but they absolutely aren’t.
Chickens are omnivores. They eat meat, they eat eat all sorts of fruits and vegetables.
This isn’t really well known to people who live off of farms or who have never spent time on one. It’s also thanks to tv and movies not showing this side of chickens.
It’s why eggs and chicken meat saying they come from “free-range vegetarian chickens” are HILARIOUS, because if they’re free-range, you can’t control that, and the tiny dinosaurs ARE going to eat a lot of things. And if a mouse meets an early demise because it came near the tiny dinosaurs …

As a kid I once threw the neighbor’s chickens a chicken nugget just to see what would happen.
Answer; they fuckin demolished it. Tore it apart and wolfed it down in seconds.
Rose tinted chicken glasses used to be a very common invention for chickens, because if they saw a speck of blood on another chicken they would gang up on it and murder it to death and feast on it.
Actual piranhas don’t act like Hollywood piranhas.
Chickens, however, do act like Hollywood piranhas. Those fuckers get a taste for blood and they become fucking ravenous fiends. They’re still very much dinosaur.
This is why I hate chickens. It used to be my job to feed them. Every. Day. And these little monsters just run up to you like you are the next meal!

I’m planning on heavily editing chapter 1 of Code Per;sona. When I First started writing I had absolutely no plan for chapter other then “Lelouch reunites with Suzaku and they both end up in Clovis’s palace.” It was almost completely written by the seat of my pants and it shows.
Chapter 1 is where a lot of readers stop reading so I want to make it better starting here:
The mode whiplash from happy to angry is a bit to sudden and I want make the transition more natural. Lelouch is happy to have finally found Suzaku and that needs to be showcased here.
But Suzaku is still in uniform and Lelouch is angry because he knows Honorary Britannian’s do not last long in the military. At all.
He just reunited with someone who is just as important to him as Nunnally is and he is immediately faced with the threat of loosing him. Again!
I’m thinking Lelouch should answer Suzaku before letting his anger be known.
I should also go take another look at the scene where Lelouch and Suzaku argue about changing the system from within.
The idea is that since their reunion is more peaceful and calm compared to canon Lelouch immediately senses something off about Suzaku but since I made the scene up as I went I’m not sure how well that came across.
I will rewrite this chapter alongside the next one and will probably upload it before the new one. 🤔
I believe several other goroboys probably know about this already, but I’m making this post to make others more aware of this.
Goro has a special ability called “Call of Chaos”, and it can make him cause psychotic breakdowns or make people or shadows go berserk.
Anyone who went through a psychotic breakdown like this train conductor for instance, ended up not remembering what they did after the effect wore off.
Memory Loss. That’s the side effect of using Call of Chaos. If someone is afflicted by “Call of Chaos”:
They will not remember the actions they did when they went berserk.
They will not remember the events that happened shortly after the effect wore off.
Now Goro had also used Call of Chaos on himself. The 1st time he did it was during the 3rd phase of the Akechi Boss fight, and the 2nd time he did it was during his Showtime with Joker.
The Showtime
In the Showtime, Goro only used Call of Chaos on himself for a short time. After he used Call of Chaos,
he placed a hand on his head indicating that he had a headache from it.
This could mean that memory loss only occurs if Call of Chaos is used
for a longer period of time. Using it for a short time will give him a
headache (which is another small side effect) that could lead to memory loss if used for a longer time.
The Akechi Boss Fight
Now during the Akechi boss fight, Goro used Call of Chaos on himself for a longer period of time, and this is during the 3rd phase of the boss fight, where Goro transformed into his Black Mask outfit and went berserk.
Did Goro lose some of his memory from this? YEP! During the 3rd semester, Goro said that he doesn’t remember what happened AFTER he fought against the PTs in the Engine Room. This was AFTER Goro used Call of Chaos on himself to fight the PTs.
So my purpose for making this post is to state that the reason why Goro doesn’t remember what happened to him in the Engine Room, is because he used Call of Chaos on himself. Call of Chaos tend to have this side effect of memory loss.
